Meet the Limerick MST team
Denise Lenihan, MST Therapist
Denise holds a degree in Social and Community Studies and brings over twelve years of professional experience across family support, homelessness services, children in care and youth justice. Her diverse background has equipped her with a deep understanding of the complex and interrelated challenges faced by young people and families, particularly those navigating adversity, instability, and multi‑agency systems.
Since February 2025, Denise has been working as a Multisystemic Therapy (MST) therapist, where she applies a rigorous, evidence‑based model to support families in creating meaningful behavioural change. In addition to her clinical practice, Denise is currently completing a Master’s in Human Rights in Criminal Justice at the University of Limerick. This ongoing academic work reflects her strong commitment to social justice and her interest in the broader structural and rights‑based issues that shape the experiences of children and families within the justice and care systems.
