Jake Prunty
Jake is a Multisystemic Therapist with Extern, where he has worked for the past two years supporting young people and families experiencing complex and high-risk challenges. In addition to his therapeutic role, he serves as the team’s back-up Supervisor, providing practice support and contributing to service development and clinical oversight.
Jake brings extensive experience from his previous work in domestic violence services across three counties, where he supported both men and women affected by domestic abuse. His practice is informed by a strong commitment to family-centred, trauma-informed approaches and to improving outcomes for children, young people, and families within their wider systems.
He holds a degree in Child, Youth and Family Studies; Public Policy and Practice, which underpins his interest in the intersection between frontline practice, policy, and sustainable service delivery.
